I love this vacuum and highly recommend it. It's not perfect, but it's convenient, affordable, and effective. I use it for crumbs, cat hair, and dust on both hard and cloth surfaces.Pros:suction -- not ridiculous but strong enough, even after picking up a lot of stuff;charge life -- I've yet to run it down in a single session, and it holds a charge while sitting even for weeks;attachments -- I especially like the brush attachment, which is great at picking up cat hair;sound -- not painfully loud;Overall, the biggest pro is CONVENIENCE. The best vacuum in the world is no good if you don't end up using it.Cons:power button -- must be held down for a couple seconds to turn on, which is mildly inconvenient and is mentioned in the instructions but not obvious otherwise;dust -- after emptying and reassembling, it puts out a little puff of dust when you first turn it on, so you don't want it near your face;filters -- the main (non-foam) filter does not come with an extra, and while it's easy to clean, if it tears/breaks and no replacement is available, the vacuum will likely become unusable.
