Because they go from freezer to microwave or boiling water it makes life easy when you are cooking and prepping for one person. I highly recommend these and have purchased them a few times. They really are not much more expensive than regular super market bags.These bags are WONDERFUL! I am using a heat sealer and the material performs exactly as needed! So happy to have access to this item!These 6x8 sized bags work great for my family. It's just the two of us, so these are perfect for individual potions. The size makes it easier to optimize the limited freezer space. We just kind of tetris the vacuum sealed foods in and they stack really well. The pre-scored notch for opening the sealed bags without scissors or a knife is super handy. The texture of the plastic is a cool standout from the normal bags we'd previously used.These are sturdier and seal more easily than the last bags I got. I use them for heat sealing, not vacuum seals but they seem to seal fully even with liquids, which have caused problems with other bags.I love the size of these bags. They make great snack bags for small amounts also small left overs I store in these bags and put in the freezer for another time. I will probably run out of this size before I do the other sizes and will have to reorder.Work well as described. You will have a few that just don’t want to seal. But for the few that don’t work it’s still worth it for the price and qualityThese worked well to seal small packages of homemade salami. Please note that the bag itself might be 4" wide across, but there are very large margins on the outsides - the area to put food in is only about 3.25" as seen in the photo. Originally, I had bought these bags to seal individual chicken breasts for the freezer. But there is no way a chicken breast will fit in one of these bags. Bags are too narrow.I find I have to fight this with my sealer a lot more than other brands I have had. The plastic is thick though, so less chance of small hole punctures I would expect.I probably won't buy it again, and will dish out a little extra for the convenience of easier sealing.These work great in our foodsaver. I like not having to make bags first.The bonus, is the the little notch on the bottom, so you don't need scissors to open.I have ordered this product before and was very happy so i repeated my order but when it arrived the bag size was smaller than last time ,when i checked i noticed that the size i got last time was sold out .so i was very dissapointed . Quality is good and suction is great .Great for small portions - up to 150g. I often cook to freeze and these are ideal for veggie sides.
