Project I used it on came out just as I hoped it would.Easy to use. Water beads up after rains. Seems to be a good product but will know more in 6 months ths to a year.Initially I was very happy with this product. It's very easy to use and cleans with soap and water. Rain beaded up on the deck surface for about three or four months, then not so much. A year later, I can tell you that the deck is not protected. The product just sort of flakes and wears off,-and I put on two coats as recommended. I am switching to a different product next year I wanted to love this product, but after using it, I can say that I won't use it again, nor would I recommend it. Go with the name brand from a paint store- that's what the pros told me.easy to use, unimpressive finishBought this a few times now and added the Brown stain to it. What a beautiful color, first off. The water repellent is great on the Nano. Instructions say to apply a second coat within thirty minutes because it beads up water after that. I've used it on my deck and my new blueberry cage that I'm currently building during the COVID19 mandatory shelter in place order. It's a great product, and I'll continue using it my future projects. It's a very watery product, so be careful not to waste it when applying it. We used a brush rather than a sprayer so we could stretch it out. You don't need much on the paintbrush - just a few dabs on the tip and then start blending it in. If it starts to drip on the wood, you can simply take the damp brush and go over it again to smooth it out. It's very easy to work with. Of note: it is white if you don't color it and greyish if you do, but that is not the color it dries.We live on Kauai and mold is everywhere. I have tried EVERYTHING! Nothings worked. Then a friend told me that she used the Seal Once on one of her projects and I should try it. I had no other options left - so I ordered the product not expecting much. I used it on the most moldy areas in my kitchen - inside the garbage can cabinet and few other high moisture areas. The wood I used it on was teak and it was already stained with something - I didn't know if the new product would absorb into the wood. But weeks passed and no mold! Months passed NO MOLD! I told my other friends about this product - IT WORKS! I now used it on all the moldy areas and have great results. I bough the Marine protector for my outdoor furniture and it looks like new. So easy to apply. No mess. Goes on like water. Great product.I used this on a deck that had been stained with several products over 15 years and none held up very well in the long rainy winters in Portland OR. We did sand extensively to prep for this product. But so far the effort was worth it. The finish went on easily and no odor. Even with two coats we had more product left than we had estimated. So very nice coverage. It doesn't have a shiny look, which we like although others might not. Boy does water bead up on it. So far it's had some really heavy rains and the water just runs off.Very happy with it.
