I butcher my homegrown meat and I like cooking with an immersion circulator so I go through a lot of vacuum sealed bags. These are by far the thickest bags I have found. I try not to vacuum sealed any meat with bones, but to the extent that I decide to keep bone in the extra thickness with these bags helps. (I also try to use absorbent pads to cushion the space between the bag and the bones, for whatever it’s worth.). I like the clear on black as it just seems to keep the meat a little better and it looks good. The extra thickness with these bags does seem to work my conventional vacuum sealer a bit hard to pull full suction, but the bags seal great and so far have held a strong seal. I will totally order these again!
