I didn’t want to spend the money on the name brand and these are a great substitute!Great price for these bags. I was concerned about the quality when I placed the order. However, the bags I received are excellent. The thickness of the plastic actually feels heavier than the FoodSaver rolled bags and Ziploc brand vac seal bags I had been using. I use these for freezer storage and freezer straight into Sous Vide bath. I have had no problem sealing these with an old, basic FoodSaver unit. As you can see from the pictures, my unit has no issue sucking the air out of these bags. I will definitely order more of this brand in the future. I bought the 3 size, 150 unit, multi pack (50 ea of pint, quart and gallon). Next time, I will avoid the pint size. They do work for a single 10 oz Filet or a single (thawed) boneless chicken breast, but are too small, for much else. JMHO YMMVWe cook extra all the time and vac seal them and freeze. Love the assorted sizesThe nutri-lock bags work with my sealer. Once food is prepared I can seal, freeze and re-heat in the bag. The sealed food can be put into boiling water to re-heat so that the flavor and texture remains the same as it was the first time you made the dish.These bags are durable enough to reuse if need be. They are thick enough to block the smell of garlic in the freezer. I have vacuumed all manner of food including flour and rice plus I can vacuum seal important items for outdoor participation like boating or other water activities. Definitely a winner!I was really excited when I got these bags since they cut down on the time I spend freezing things. The small ate perfect for 1lb ground hamburger and the large for large bags of rice etc. The medium ones were perfect for steaks, chicken ect. except after I used about 7, the air started not to come out. I thought it was my machine, but I was able to make bags with no problems. The next 10 or so I tried, at least 6 of them didn't work. I sent just the medium bags and received a refund, but I was very disappointed. I really liked the product and have only had 1 or 2 if the other sizes have this problem.This is a really nice assortment of vacuum sealer bags. I tend to buy things in bulk when I have the opportunity and this assortment gives me options for repackaging for future use without wasting a large bag for a little bit of stuff. There is also some really big bags that can be used for larger items. So far the bags appear to be doing what they are intended by keeping food fresh. The bags are generic and I'm sure they could be used with any brand of vacuum sealer. Will purchase again.I purchased these bags to go along with the Nutri-Loch Vacuum Sealer I bought at the same time. Only used the sealer a few times so can’t comment on the longevity of the bags in the freezer, in boiling water & in the microwave, nor can I yet tell if they will hold their seal, but they are tough bags and appear to be well made, so I have no doubt they will handle anything I throw at it.
