VacMaster 4-Mil Vacuum Packaging Chamber Pouches are perfect for your rough items. Our heavy-duty 4-mil pouch is designed to give an added layer of protection. Great at handling spiny, sharp, or boney items, the 4-mil material is thick enough to prevent bones poking through bags, tearing, or leaks. The toughness of the pouch is perfect for meat processing and will protect your food from freezer burn and dehydration. Our chamber pouches provide optimum freshness and a positive reliable seal, keeping food fresh up to five times longer. VacMaster pouches are transparent, allowing for easy identification of the product. The pouches work in conjunction with any chamber machine, but are intended for use with all VacMaster VP Series Chamber Machines. Pouches are not for use with suction or clamp style type vacuum sealers.
Includes 1000, 6 inch by 8 inch pouches per box
Heavy-duty 4 mil thick material, Nylon/Poly construction for high puncture and abrasion resistance
Use with Chamber Vacuum Sealers only!
Pouches can be frozen, refrigerated, microwaved, boiled, or cooked sous vide

6" is definitely a little smaller than I imagined and kind of hard to fold back so I can put food in the bag and not get the seal area dirty. But I got used to it the more I used it and we fit perfect individual steaks in it and seal them or 1 pound of hamburger (could probably get 1 1/2 pounds in the bag), also nice portions of strawberries, peaches or nut go great in this size. We are loving our new vacmaster VP215 and accidentally ordered the VP210 that doesn't take oil first, so we sent it back and got this one and are sealing up steaks, hamburger, strawberries, home made trail mix, home made beef jerky right and left. Very nice and we like these bags because they are thicker for longer preservation and to be boiled, although you can boil the 3 mil bags too, but I haven't tried boiling either one of them yet. We have some 3 mil bags with the machine and ordered more 3 mil and 4 mil for different purposes. It's quite a pricey investment at first, but the bags should last a while and get us through hunting season this year and all the sales on our favorite steak or other meat. Now that the boys are grown, it's really nice to seal up smaller portions. This would have been really nice when we had a bigger family too, but never could afford it, it seemed.
