Bought this to use on a sailboat for various sewing projects and cutting ropes. This hot knife has worked very well so long as you tighten the bolts that hold the blades on extremely tight. Haven’t used for a very long time so I can’t speak as to the longevity, but it seems to be doing a great job for the projects I need on the boat.
