Received item timely. Packaging was not damaged during shipping. I use these pumps for freeze drying. After powering up the freeze dryer gave message, "no vacuum". I contacted my freeze drier tech and after many test and several weeks of testing it was determined that that problem was with the vacuum pump. I missed my return window. But I felt that the vacuum would have been covered under a warranty. Guess not, the distributor rejected my request for repair or replacement. Costly mistake on my part. I've had it for 3 months so if there is a warranty it should be covered. I spoke to JB Ind. reqarding the pump and they said there are unauthorized dealers selling their product. When you buy from an unauthorized dealer you have no warranty. Beware, if you want a warranty on your purchase or at least buy the policy on Amazon.
