Please install the batteries according to the proper "+" & " -" directions as indicated inside the battery case. When installing batteries, be cautious of the iron sheet not to scratch your hands. In Use It may not work well when you start using it for the first time, but after some practices you will make good use of it. Do not use it heating non-stop for >3 minutes at a time. it is best to use it with intervals of 3-5minutes after each use. It is suitable for sealing Plastic Bags of PE, PP and PVC etc. However, it does not work for Pure Paper Bags or Aluminum Foil Packaging Bag. The moving speed of the seal depends on the thickness of the plastic bag, the thinner you need to seal quickly, otherwise, it will break easily. The thick ones need to seal slowly, or they won’t be sealed. Please scrape off the residual on the heating set for better sealing effect. After Use It is safe to leave the batteries inside, since it is designed with auto disconnection after release. When the batteries power is low please replace immediately. Hit or miss, it says to go slow for 5 seconds , but the device heats up to much so it melts what you are trying to seal, cutting the plastic. But if you go too fast it doesn’t work properly.I attempted to seal a Doritos chip bag. 8 had to first cut the excess bag off to seal the bag at the desired location. Than it took several passes to actually seal…However, once I finally got the seal, it did hold!When I bought these I didn't even know how much I would use them but omg, I use them all the time! When I open a bag from the freezer and only use some of the package, I seal the bag and put it back into the freezer, I use to use rubber bands or just roll up the bag and most of the time it would get spilled, what a pain cleaning up would be, now I just seal it and it's nice, neat and organized. Totally a must have in your kitchen.It doesn’t even work! It's a waste of money.I ordered a three pack and not one of them sealedTried so many times to seal different bags. Wouldn’t seal, if it did it was just barely. Also when you’re trying to seal things the battery cover will always slide offCompact and works perfectly!I tried several times to get this to work. Tried both of them. It wouldn't seal at all. Don't waste your money.
