The stuff works, but seems expensive. I put on two coats. The second coat took longer to soak in and dry, but sheds water very well.Worked amazing for a couple of days. Now you can’t tell there’s any waterproofing on the grout at all. I did two coats too. For what it costs thought it would last more then a few days!works good so farUsed this to seal our limestone fireplace tiles. It dried exactly like the tile (no added shine or texture change). Easy to apply, quick to dry and the smell evaporates very quickly. Tested the water repelling and it worked well, yet to test its longevity. Overall, very happy with this product thus far.After spending hours cleaning grout it only make sense to seal it with best long term sealant. Used it several years ago on another floor and never had any stain or dirt issues with the grout.This product is expensive when compared to other sealers. However, the less expensive sealers that I have tried (2 or 3 others) did not do the job as well. Not even close in my opinion. The poor performers either did not pass the water bead test or lost their protection after a few months.When you consider the cost of the tiles and grout, the time and labor to install the tiles and grout and the time required to apply the sealer (labor that includes scrubbing, cleaning and drying the set grout before applying the sealer), to cost of the sealer becomes immaterial.The work that is needed to prepare the grout and apply the sealers is the same of sealers. The difference is in the performance.Received the product and since I had cleaned the shower earlier in the day I applied it immediately. When using the shower the next morning I noted that both the tile and the grout repelled the water significantly better than my previous product. Can't currently speak to value and longevity at this time.Definitely takes 2-3 coats, but totally works. I could tell when there was enough when the grout stopped changing color (getting darker) when applied. It did discolor my tile in a few places, it turned my gray tile white. Make sure you wipe it off if you don't stay in the lines!
