About 6 yrs, the rear window in my 2016 Audi soft top had the bottom seal fail and open about 1/8 inch. I did not notice it. We had 3 weeks of frequent storms, it was parked outside, and water leaked. Repairs cost ~$9500. I have paid more attention to the new software top. About 3 years ago, the bottom seal started to fail. I bought this 3M sealant and it continues to hold up well. Recently I noticed the top seal beginning to fail. I used the same sealant to repair it. I apply blue tape on the window. Immediately after application, I pull the tape off to get nice sealant "lines". I spread an initial bead with a caulk gun, then wear gloves to smooth it to a nice application. Then I use special squeeze devices to put pressure on it.The sealant is easy to use. Good stuff. And the price is reasonable.
