I am the kind of dork that gets excited about things like vacuuming out a dryer. This was super easy to put together. I was able to do it using instructions that my dog had eaten part of. I wish I was kidding. The suction was marvelous. It was easy to use. I didn’t pull much lint out of my dryer, which is a good thing. I guess I just don’t have a lot of lint build up. I thought I was going to pull out a pile of lint like you see in other reviews. Honestly, it was so unsatisfying, but not because of any defect in the product. It worked exactly like it was supposed to. I am certain that this hose would have cleaned piles of lint out of my dryer, if there had been piles of lint in there. I still feel better knowing that my dryer is clear of lint. If you are a dork that gets excited about vacuuming out dryers or you could just use some peace of mind, this is worth every penny.I'm used this once and it was easy to connect and use. My Dyson vacuum was able to get quite a bit of lint from deep down in the dryer. I still used an older wire bristled brush to loosen some lint but I was able to vacuum that up as well. My only complaint is that it is difficult to angle/turn the guide hose around corners...but I still got lots of lint!It’s a small diameter hose to get into the dryer filter opening. The wire allows you to steer the end of the hose to suck up the lint. The tip does get clogged by compacted lint, but is easily cleared by pulling the lint out and allowing it to get sucked up. I cleaned up about 6 inches of lint from my dryer. I have cleaned my dryer prior, with my shop vac and crevice tool.While this did enable me to remove a lot of lint from my dryer I know there must be a lot that I missed. The small diameter hose plugged up several times. Maneuvering the end of the hose with wire is not easy. On my model, I was able to get only about 1/2 the hose into my Samsung dryer. Other brands may allow more. All in all, I did manage to remove a lot of lint but I feel I missed a lot.I purchased it for the sole purpose of vacuuming the dryer's lint trap and it does the job.I’ve always known you are supposed to clean your dryer vents and I’ve tried, but the vacuum attachments just aren’t long enough. This gadget gives you a lot more distance to get where your vacuum can’t. I pulled out two canisters full of lint with this baby! Stuff just sitting in the back and/or bottom of my dryer - a hazard waiting to be a fire. If you feel the price is too high, group together and get one for a bunch of you. You will only need to use it once every month or so. You can pass it around and split the bill. It’s worth the cost to keep you safe from a lint fire!So I was hesitant to buy this. I always clean my dryer lint catcher and wipe off the outside vent. How much could I have been missing that I’d have to have this? But…at a low price for piece of mind, I tried it and boy am I glad. I started with an empty vacuum cleaner canister and by the time I was done, it was full. Multiple times I had to pull the hose out of the dryer and unclog the gigantic dust balls blocking the end of the tube because there was so much lint in my dryer it was clogging the entry to the cleaning tube. Easy to use, easy to set up and I’m guessing my dryer will be not only safer but more efficient. If you are hesitant to buy like I was, don’t delay….buy it now and you’ll see why you made the right (and safe) decision to pull the trigger and take a chance. So glad I did!I got out about an inch worth of dust out of my dryer and exhaust in my shop vac. Works good enough. Because of the small hose size it was easy to "snake" its way into the dryer but the small size hose it gets clogged easily and needs to be cleared often.I was so excited to test this product out but had a baby and just now got a chance to use and review. This item has pros and cons and here it is.ProsIt attached very well to my Dyson vacuumIt has great suctionConsDesign needs some work due to the fact that it doesn't have a brush attached to the hose or even a brush on the side included to loosen lint stuck to sides of dryer vent which would have made it more productiveThe hose is to flimsy and unstable to stick it into a narrow dryer vent and control where it takes the lint from. I would compare it to a vacuum hose without a hard tool or even a plastic head to secure it.So maybe it can be used for vents that have wider openings that you can have your hand inside the vent for hose control but not recommended for narrow or small vent openings that your hand cant move freely in while trying to operate the hose as it's not structured enough for the job.Good luck with cleaning your vents.Product works exactly as described, however the hole on the end is very small, so when you’re sucking up your dryer vent, lint will ball up and not go in the hose, it just blocks it and you have to work it in. Besides that it does work, suction is great, it’s long enough to reach the bottom of my vent slot. Expensive and doesn't work. I tried with my central vac and upright dyson. The metal fishing attachment is so flimsy it doesn't help push the hose in at all.I got a tiny piece of lint. And it got stuck. Was easier to just get my manual fishing wand cleaner and just poke thru and pull out lint.I can't recommend this expensive plastic.This is a total waste of money. Although it fit my vacuum nozzle (a dyson v8), the tube is so flimsy that it does not have the strength to stay in place to suck anything up. It just ravels in a circle and picks nothing up. Very disappointed in this item.Used this with my stick vacuum so I could see how much it picked up and as you can see th container is 75% full. Easy to use and got a lot of lint. Next time will use with regular vacuum, but very happy with the result. Despite the lint filter it’s surprising how much gets inside the machine. Received a week ahead of projected delivery too.
