Don't usually write reviews but I feel like there's a couple things people should know for these little guys.First off, I wasn't sure it would clean carpets but even though it doesn't have a roller brush, it still suctioned off a fair amount of dirt and what have you from the two 5 x 7 area rugs I have in the apartment. I've only tried the S-curve vacuum for the whole place and I actually really like how it goes around all my desk/table legs to get all the nooks and crannies.It got stuck a few times, but it's a learning experience so I know how to leave a couple things when I leave for the day and want it to get it's work it done without worrying about it.Getting back to the recharging station has been hit or miss, but I *was* in the middle of a pretty deep cleaning myself so the position of a couple things kept moving all day. I'm not sure if it remembers the scans of the apartment for future use.When I first started it, I went through the options in the app and saw that it starts out on 1% suction power, so if yours isn't as strong as you'd like, make sure to check the app to see what it's at.The mopping feature is where this thing is mid. It's not bad by any means, just a couple things that keep it from being something I can let it do on it's own.For starters, make sure you have any rugs or rooms with rugs barricaded. I didn't think it would be able to be able to distinguish whether or not it's on carpet or not when the mop feature is running, but wanted to give it a shot just in case. And yeah, no go.As for the mopping itself, I put it on auto mode for that part and let it go to work and was pretty pleased with how it handled everything. They say not to put any cleaner in the tank, but I don't want this thing just spraying water around and that's it. Sounds gross.So two tips that I found on Reddit really helped:- Take the pad off, and dip it in whatever you use to clean floors/water (I use Pine Sol) and then put it back on.- Spray some sanitizing spray on the floor before the V3s starts the mopping process. That way when it sprays the water on the floor it'll mix with the Pine Sol/water mix.One of the fun little aspects of the app is that it shows you the scan your vacuum is currently making while going, and it makes your place look like a Zelda dungeon map. I just wish there was a way to select which parts of the map to avoid during mopping so I could keep my carpets dry, but as far as I can tell there's no, like, constantly updated core scan that you can access. It just shows you the scan of the current session.There might be some feature like that I'm just not seeing but I doubt it, still, for the price, I'm pretty content. I just won't use the mop function unless I'm home so I can direct it.I have purchased three V8s robot vacuums. I absolutely love these for hardwood floors and tile. I have no carpet in my home so can’t speak to that. Also I have never used the mopping function. However, these are PERFECT for picking up pet and people hair on hard floors. The lack of roller means no hair caught up that needs cut away, which means less maintenance. The side spinning brushes are longer than other robot vacuums and work great. Lots of suction for heavier dirt and such. The dirt collection bin is large, my only wish is that there were a self emptying model. This vacuum’s bin holds almost as much as my shark IQ XL’s self emptying storage canister, which is supposedly a month worth of storage. I have a lot of hair from myself, two dogs, and three cats, so it does need emptying every time I run it. If they eventually make a self emptying model, it’ll be THE machine for pet hair and hard floors.While my model doesn’t map the house, it has never fallen off any ledges. My shark continues to fall off a ledge between rooms and I’m worried it’ll fall down the stairs eventually. The V8s never falls. The lack of roller and powerful suction is what makes this so great for pet and people hair on hard floors.Two words: Game changer. The thing I never knew I needed I now can’t imagine living without. With two cats and two kids, I had given up on having clean floors every day. But now, the floor passes the bare foot test and I haven’t seen a single cat tumbleweed since I’ve gotten it. Gets under and around all the things. Great suction, battery life has been fantastic as I take it to multiple levels of the house (and it hasn’t fallen off any edges!), and the mop feature is another great bonus in my life. And I like that it has the option of using an app or a remote. Easy to clean out (and to save tiny legos). Has also worked on low-pile/mat-style rugs around my house. TL:DR - So great I want another for the other level of my house.My goal was to find a robot that was smart enough to clean the areas that need more attention, at the same time powerful, but didn't cost my arms and legs. It was nice to find this one where I could get what I was looking for, plus a powerful suction and an app that allowed me to schedule and check the area that was cleaned. There is a lot of storage in it and it finds the base very quickly. My previous robot was not able to clean my floors as well as this one. Haven't tried the mop, as we prefer to do it ourselves, but will try one day. At the end of the day, you get way more for what you pay. Very happy with this and will get my mom the same.Rarely is an appliance so cool that it deserves a name. We call ours Dusty and it’s been a game changer to have an automatic vacuum. Our fist model lasted almost three years before it started making a terrible sound. We have replaced it and now have Dusty 2. Mopping takes many passes, changes of the pad, and some time…but it beats the crap out of getting out the old mop and bucket. If it doesn’t run long enough, our laminate floor get cloudy. But with enough passes Dusty reveals a shiny floor. I put in a tiny bit of floor cleaner on the first tank then just use water for the next 3-4 fills. We love Dusty and we’re not sure how we lived without before. The cats love it too, always stalking it. Best of all, the floor is finally clean. I want to replace most of our carpet with laminate so Dusty can keep more of the house clean!Aspirador muito eficiente. Sucção bem forte. No entanto, é possível retirar em Português no site do fabricante.Ótima compra! A bateria dura bastante, não achei tão barulhento, dá para integrar com Alexa. Pra quem tem cachorro e criança em casa, é uma ajuda e tanto no dia a dia! Recomendo.Item is too noisy, doesn’t vacuum well and the mob leaks water a lot. The seller doesn’t respond to queries at all.
