I own more vacuums than I remember. I’m on a never-ending quest to find one that totally handles dog hair. It’s almost unbelievable how much my two dogs shed. Any vacuum works on bare floors, even though I have to clean them up to 3 or 4 times a day. (Seriously, you can’t believe the dog hair dust bunnies that appear throughout the day.) But the carpets never seem to really get clean. I have a rug with a lot of black in the design, and it is always covered in dog hair, even after vacuuming. Well this one does a much better job than any others I have, and they work fine for other things like bare floors and upholstery. So this one is pretty powerful and does a pretty good job on the black carpet. It’s also surprisingly easy to clean, and mine was packed full of compacted hair and dust after the first use. But I easily took apart what I needed to and clean ed it pretty easily, washed the filters, and I’m charging it to go again! Glad I bought this one. It’s also very easy to maneuver.
