Countertop horror story saved by Tenax! In our new construction house we put leathered finish quartz soapstone in two kitchens, pantry, and laundry rooms. After installation we noticed it took an extreme effort to clean the surface, not what you want in a working surface. Water marks and oil were particularly problematic.After doing further research, we find out this is an on going problem with this product. Who would have thought...certainly not our designers or installers.Tenax to the rescue, our installers recommended Tenax quartz sealer for our problem, it did darken the stone quite a bit but now is completely user friendly, oil/water/grease no problem just comes right off.Thx Tenax!
