Wasn't sure if these bags were going to seal because they are a little thicker than the original ones that came with my vacuum sealer but they do seal very well and stay sealed too. The bags are 8" across and a single roll is 16' which after 3 weeks of use, I just finally put the second roll on my vacuum sealer. When it comes to filling these, I was able to fit a steak inside that was fairly big, but these bags are able to hold steaks, without bones of course. I have also put chicken, shrimp, fruits and vegetables too. No matter what I've put inside of these vacuum bags, they remained sealed, even with being moved around in our freezer, these bags do remain sealed. When we do open the bags, they really do keep our food fresh and protect it from getting freezer burn. While we do use our vacuum sealer and these bags, I like the amount you get and especially for the price. These work better than the name brand roll that we had previously. When cutting into these bags, I'm able to cut them with any scissors that we have and love that I can reuse these with no issues.Nice rolls. When you place them in the machine, the bag stays open just enough that the vacuum can really suck out all the air.
