The 5 stars are not for the product.What is worthy of the highest rating is the exemplary responsiveness of VacLife’s customer service representative, Lily.My vac turned out to be defective.From my first email to the company, Lily was professional, personable and responsive.Returns are never fun but corresponding with Lily was such a refreshing experience.Ultimately, she clearly identified the problem and we decided a refund was the best solution.Only a short time after Lily promised to take care of it, Amazon notified me the refund was being processed.I hope you don’t encounter any problems with this product but be assured that if you do, Lily and her team will do everything possible to rectify the situation.We've had our VacLife handheld vacuum over a year and find it very useful for quick pickups. The built -in light is helpful in seeing those food crumbs that are on the floor under the kitchen table. The suction is adequate and the filter very easy to clean and even a spare filter is provided. Overall the vacuum has a sleek attractive appearance to it, just a bonus.Now here’s the best part. After a year of daily use the motor stopped working even though the unit was fully charged. I emailed the company about the problem and within 24 hours got a reply stating that they will make everything right. They suggested a few corrective steps but the unit didn’t work. No problem, within two days I received a new unit! No hassle with warranty expiration etc., that is great customer support!This was an outstanding investment. From design and craftsmanship to performance snd customer service. We were very impressed with the performance and quality of the vacuum.We cleaned the filter every week snd made sure to do our part snd take care of the maintenance. It was very dependable and ran strong for over a year and then it started failing ….. but here’s where the story gets really amazing. I contacted Customer Service and explained our situation. They immediately replied and requested a video and some explanation. Next was a verification of our shipping address and an offer for either a refund or a replacement. We chose a replacement and it arrived within 5 days. What an amazing experience. Def try them out - you won’t regret it.The original vacuum I purchased didn’t work after the first use. It wouldn’t charge but after reaching out to the seller they were quick to help resolve the issue. After receiving a replacement, I waited to write a review in case the same issue occurred. I’m happy to say that the product works great. It charges and works just fine! Vacuums well between corners in the car. Only thing is, it last for 30mins. So it’s great for vacuuming up small sections but not for deep cleaning .For the price, this can't really be beat. Doe a good job picking up cat hair and litter. I did have some issues with an internal part coming loose. The vendor Replaced my vacuum in a few days, no charge.It has good suction. I use it to clean around my bunnies cage and to clean up dog and cat hair. I haven't had any issues with it.I purchased this vacuum to replace a Shark handheld cordless vacuum whose battery had stopped charging after several years. My Shark had been a strong, capable vacuum while it lasted (115 volts and with good attachments) and I was looking for another strong suction handheld with a reliable battery. I knew I needed something that would pick up dog hair readily, and that would ideally have extension attachments suitable for the car and other tight places.In seeking a replacement, I ended up evaluating 3 models side-by-side:A. Vaclife;B. Hoover One Power; andC. Hikeren Cordless.VacLife was the winner. I found that, although Vaclife had the lowest wattage, the suction was comparable with Hoover (which, despite it's blaringly loud motor, did not suck stronger) and better than the Hikeren (which needed to be much closer to the item to pick it up), the run time was the longest of the 3 (though they were all close, Vaclife offered about 5 extra minutes at 30 minutes), the attachments were excellent (equal to Hikeren, superior to Hoover which had solely a crevice tool that chronically fell off its on-board mount), charge time was the fastest, and it was very lightweight (my back ached with the Hoover after 30 minutes). VacLife was about $10 more than Hikeren and $35 less than Hoover, so a medium price point. I have fully depleted the battery at least 4-5 times over the course of a month, and used it for a variety of dirt, and the performance remains consistent and strong.In summary, what I liked about VacLife:1. Strong, consistent suction;2. Fairly quiet, dog could tolerate at close range;3. Very lightweight;4. Effective and well-designed attachments;5. Long runtime + short charge time;6. Exhaust is placed properly to not blow the dirt you are trying to vacuum all over as you approach it (this was a problem with Hikeren); and7. A reasonable price point (especially if, as advertised in the warranty booklet, they will replace battery without cost at the 1+ year mark when they predict it will need it).Areas for improvement:1. The filter is fabric, although reviews on Amazon made me think it was going to be a sturdier stainless steel one - however, they included a replacement filter, so that is a nice concession;2. The filter sits in the strainer which sits in the dustcup - however, the hair and dust seems to lodge in the strainer and in the tip of the dust cup behind where it sucks. The result is that the actual capacity of the rather generous dust cup is reduced to the much more modest capacity of the strainer because, once that fills up, you need to empty it or accept reduced suction power because of all the stuff crammed in there - I would like to see a redesign of the filter placement that allows the entire dust cup to fill without obstructing the filter; and3. It's a bit more time consuming to remove the filter for cleaning - you can't just pop open the dust cup and shake it out over a trash. You must also remove the strainer, and swivel the filter out so that you can manually remove dirt and, in my case, dog hair, from the filter, shake that out (or wash it if desired), replace the filter, swivel to lock, line up the strainer with the rib in the dust cup and secure it, before reattaching the dust cup, so a bit more than a 1-2-3 task, but still effective and not a hardship.We've had one of these beefy boys for a few years. We use it constantly in the laundry room for cleaning up lint and dirt and in garage for cleaning up saw dust and cobwebs. It's taken a lot of abuse as the kids fetch/drop it all of the time. In fact, out of allll the dust busters we've owned (and we've had probably 5 or 6 different types/brands), this one has lasted the longest and is easily the best, BY FAR. The light is super useful, the filter is easy to clean, and the suction power is second-to-none (in fact, one of the most entertaining things you can do with this vacuum is suck up house flies. It nabs them from 6+ inches away!). 10/10, would recommend for normal household use.We bought this machine to get into little nooks and crannies that our Dyson can't get into. The machine does do a good job, and you can tell this when you open it up to empty it. There is a filter which is easy to clean but the dust that collects in the pointy nose of the machine is difficult to remove. It doesn't come out by banging the container on the floor, you need to have something long and thin to hoik out the dirt. The inside of the nose part is a strange design in order to accept the accessories. The accessories are easy to fit and remove, it is only the removal of the dust that has built up inside which is tricky to get out.Subsequently I have been in touch with the supplier who has been extremely helpful in suggesting alternative solutions to the removal of the fluff. I recommend VacLife vacuum cleaner which is lightweight, reasonably quiet and gets the job done. Although the instruction suggests keeping the rechargeable battery topped up, I have not had a problem with it as there is an indicator showing how much power is left. If you are vacuuming in dark places, the VacLife has a torch embedded in the handle to make things easier to see.I purchased the vac for the purpose of cleaning my home office desk each morning. With 4 cats in the house who like to sleep on my desk overnight I needed a “dust buster” that could handle the amount of work and that could handle cat hair.The vac arrived. Packaged well. And was delivered before the estimated time scale.The vac was spot on. Worked wonders. I hoovered the desk every morning. And my keyboard. I was delighted with my purchase.Then came a shock, it stopped charging.And wow! I got in touch with Amazon who said the seller will be notified and will be in touch, I again I can’t remember how many days they said, but the reply from the seller was so quick.I emailed them noting the problem.They asked a few questions.And within two emails they offered a refund or replacement without any hesitation. I’d been so delighted with the vacs performance, I chose the replacement.Within a day or so the replacement was delivered. An email from them to check that id received it.I will definitely purchase other goods from this seller.The replacement is going strong and is doing a spot on job.It’s always great to see customer service done well.Thank youI am very pleased with this handheld vacuum. Great suction power and lightweight to use. The power lasts well and it's easy to charge when needed. It sucks up all sorts of fluff, crumbs etc. and is very handy for keeping the stair carpet looking good. We have a stair lift so not very easy to use the large cleaner. The light is good for seeing in the nooks and crannies and the attachments are also handy. It came with a spare filter but they do seem to be rather delicate so not sure how long they will last. Am hoping to buy another vacuum to keep upstairs, so one up, one down for convenience but before then have enquired about getting hold of spare filters if needed and am waiting for an answer. The vacuum came quickly, well packed in a nice cardboard box which it resides in when not in use. Very pleased with my purchase.This vacuum has good suction power to remove all of the hairs and dusts and crumbles from my carpet, I am happy with it! a good value of money. Though I would like to know about the PA and W of this product for better comparison with competing brands, however the product information is nowhere to be found.I absolutely loved this product. It was handy and efficient. Unfortunately this week it has failed to charge having been on charge for many hours. I am extremely disappointed as I am not eligible for a refund, apparently. So please don’t buy this product. You should get more use out of it than 6 months
