VacMaster pouches are transparent, offering clearly visible product for easy identification. The pouches work well in conjunction with any chamber machine, creating a secure vacuum and a tight seal and making it a great asset for Sous Vide cooking. The VacMaster Vacuum Chamber Pouches are high quality and incredibly affordable! *Please note-these bags are only compatible with chamber vacuum sealers. Also, boiling time is a maximum of 20 minutes, however these bags are suitable for Sous Vide cooking (temps <= 180F). For microwave applications it is important to cut a small hole in the pouch to let out steam.

I previously bought the 10 x 13 size. I now buy this size for about the same price. I cut them into 10 x 6.5" & 5 x 8(2). I use an impulse sealer with a 2mm sealing bar. These work great for vacuum sealing food size portions for one or two people. I also cut them to 5" x 4" and seal yeast in 1 Tbl size, and freeze. It is impossible to use 1 lb Fleshmans Yeast (from Sams) before it dies exposed to the air...this way you can have just the right size available for years, it last years in the freezer.
