I've been using these bags for 3-4 years and they're the best value for the money. I'm a hunter, fisherman and frugal shopper. If steaks or chops are on sale for crazy low prices I buy a bunch and reseal it to dinner serving sizes. Quart bags are a decent middle ground. I use the pints for pheasants and grouse. If I get a turkey the fillets and drumsticks go into gallon bags. And everything else goes in quarts.No need to question if your sealed items are going to stay fresh and way better than sandwich style sealer bags.It's a good quality bag.I use these bags everyday and have no trouble removing the air or getting a tight seal.There are a few findings that eliminate some of the challenges described in the reviews.1. If the bag doesn't evacuate the air, just cancel, open it up and flip it over. I found that the grid pattern in the bag can be so tight that the air channels get blocked. Not an issue at all. Normal from what I've seen.2. As food freezes it shrinks which can cause the bag to loosen up a little.3. Sucking the liquids out of the bag during the vacuum process will interfere with sealing. Just watch and seal early before the liquid reaches the sealing line.Hope this helps.Was very happy with these food saver bags. Good quality for the price. Happy to get a nice quantity.
