When it comes to holding the temp this sous vide is great. I have only used it maybe 20 times since I got it but yesterday when I was using it, I saw it leaning and found that the clamp holding it into the pot shattered like it was dry rotted. I have never seen plastic do this without long term exposure to elements. I don't store it until I'm sure everything is dry and don't tighten it too tight. It is very upsetting to have this happen.Easy to use, comes with storage bag too. I would recommend this product.works very well. nice to cook with exact temperature. shrimp come out perfect, not rubbery. Eye of round at 137 deg for 18 hours comes out pink and tender. easy to use, well built, adjustable to the pot or container, very capable and quick with heating to temp. temp stays within a degree or so of target. in the last month, my most used cooking tool in the kitchen beating out my air fryer a little for other purposes.This is a great product, buy it !Easy to use and the meat is fabulous. We have been trying different meats and every one is the best we’ve ever had. Read instructions once and you are a pro. A quality vacuum sealing machine helps, as does a large Lodge frying pan to finish with a sear. Bought with the Homenote Sous Vide Container 12 Quart with Lid & Rackand Sleeve (for 1-4 steaks).I hardly ever leave a review and this just might be my first one, but this sous vide immersion circulator has inspired me to do so. A Con: There was confusion on how to actually start it. A Pro: A call to their customer service solved it quickly (Set your temperature, set your time, double tap the power button which will then turn from blue to red; now it's on). A Con: This may be small but it's irritating: the speed which the temperature is set is so fast that you are apt to go past the target temperature. A Pro: This is easily remedied by getting close to the target and then tapping the + or - button to reach it. Not a big deal, really. A Pro: It is very quiet, hardly noticeable at all. A major requirement for me. A Pro: The attachment mechanism has a rubber tipped screw which seems both sturdy and long-lasting. A Pro: It's 1100 watts, from my research this means it can keep more water at the correct temperature easier than a lower watt circulator. But I'm not an engineer so don't hold me to that. A Pro: I really like that it DOES NOT have bluetooth or wifi capability. I prefer items to be simple and just do their job well, in this case it's to keep water at a constant temperature for a prescribed amount of time. This circulator has accomplished that so far. And here's hoping it will mean that there are fewer things to go wrong with it. A Pro: It is easy to use and it frees up the time. Less time is spent on tending to the meat portion of the meal so you can get other parts of the meal ready. The Main Pro: It made the Best Steaks we've ever had!I came upon this nifty item when I had dinner at my In-laws. My Mother in-law used one to cook Surf and Turf Dinner for Christmas Eve. I have tried lobster numerous times and have hated every time due to taste and texture. To my surprise I actually liked it. The lobster and filet literally fell apart in my mouth with very little effort to chew. The best part was she didn't even have to watch the food. It cooked all on it's own. With this experience I bought one.The first meal I cooked with it was chicken breast marinated in teriyaki. In the hour it was cooking I was able to get so much accomplished that I wouldn't have if I had to sit there and watch it. I was able to pick up the house a little, help my son with homework, Pretty much everything I would of had to wait to do until after my son was in bed. I love the fact that it has a window for cooking, Meaning If I didn't pull it out at 1 hour it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't over cook because it was at that temperature. For Chicken breasts the window was 1 - 4 hours before it actually started to over cook. What I did do though was cook it slightly under the recommended temperature for chicken so I could throw it on the grill for a few minutes to get a nice chard outside. I cooked it at 145 instead of 165 with the Sous Vide. It was very flavorful and Juicy. Lots of compliments from the family. I highly recommend this to any parent or just that person who just needs more time!I'm fairly new to Sous Vide cooking and so I started with the Anova cooker from Costco. As soon as I turned it on my entire household complained of the noise it made. There was a constant annoying buzzing/humming sound. It's hard to describe, but it was maddening. I loved how it cooked, but I could not deal with the sound so I returned it. In hopes that not all SV cookers made this similar sound, I turned to Amazon for my next purchase. I ordered the KitchenBoss G322, Yedi Infinity, and of course this one the KitchenBoss G310. To my excitement, all 3 were pretty silent, with the KB models being the quietest. None of the models were wifi enable like the Anova, but honestly, after using them, it didn't make any sense to have wifi or bt enabled cookers. Ok, I ended up liking the older model KB G310 the best because it was simple. I choose my temp and time and hit start. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I didn't like the preset features of the G322 model. It was too difficult to set the temp and time I wanted. I had to use or edit the presets, which I didn't like. The Yedi was okay, but I didn't like how I would have to remove a screw in order to clean the elements and it wasn't waterproof. Not a good feature for an appliance you use around water. So, if you want a great affordable SV cooker, that has the power to heat quickly and the precision to heat consistently, then KitchenBoss is a great brand.Il roner è giunto rotto.Alla prima accensione avevo impostato 55° ma la temperatura indicata sul display oscillava incontrollata tra 78 e 82°. In realtà era fissa a 39 gradi, misurata con 2 diversi termometri.Restituito subito.Per il resto, sembra di ottima fattura, robusto e con la comodissima vitre laterale di fissaggio alla pentola che, credo, sia il sistema più affidabile.Display intuitivo con un touch ragionevolmente sensibile.AGGIORNAMENTO RECENSIONE:Ho riacquistato il prodotto e funziona perfettamente.Sono stato contattato dal venditore velocemente in merito alla mia prima infelice esperienza di acquisto.
